I too use a form of Magnesium when I'm "C" but would never touch it when I'm "D". My Dr. has suggested this for "C" only occasionally to clean my system out.

Magnesium is one of the deficiencies, iron and calcium are others. Have you been tested to see if and which area you are actually deficient in and did your "D" seem to become worse after taking the Magnesium? There may be an alternative supplement instead of Magnesium for Restless Leg Syndrome and see if it helps keep "D" in control.

When I was taking natural hormones last year (I'm Perimenopausal)I informed all of my Dr.'s. During my cycle it gave me horrible insomnia lasting 3-4 nights with absolutely "no" sleep and my body was exhausted and numb. I also became horribly nauseated up to 4 days and vomited. After about 8 months I quit taking them. I'm sleeping every night (less during my cycle, but I do sleep), no more nausea or vomiting. My impression is that even though my body has been going through some serious changes, I must not have been deficient enough in those areas to require extra hormones at this time. I learned the hard way. I do still suffer IBS symptoms that I'm struggling with.

I hope you can get your system calmed down. Good luck. Heidi
