My doctor told me I had what is called a Bricker's Ring, which doesn't bother me as much as the hiatal hernia he said that he found. He never told me anything else but that and scheduled me for a followup. The Bricker's Ring and Hiatal Hernia explain quite a lot and make feel like at least I understand my symptoms more, but the diarrehea I have off and on bothers me. Since I've been following Heather's IBS diet I have had no attacks, they come on when I'm stressed, but that is it.

If my doctor has found nothing but those 2 things wrong with me do I have IBS? The gas, reflux, and all that explain why I have abdominal pain, which is the backup of gas in me, but I don't know why I get the diarreah and why it only started when I got my first job. If he can find no physical cause as to why I began getting it back in 97 does that mean I have IBS? I am very confused now.
