There are also brands of vitamins for people who have stomach problems with taking vitamins, the answer is a good food based vitamin. one you can take even on an empty stomach and it won't cause you discomfort. One so brand name is Mega Foods. Though I am sure there are others. A good Health food store should be able to help you with further information.
