Thank you for your quick reply, mine would mostly be C then with some D thown in every now and again just to spice my life up (ha). My symptoms are severe pain in my lower abdomen. When I showed my Dr. where the pain was she thought it may be my ovaries since the pain was so far down, but after my ultrasound came back ok she didn't really know. I had done research on my own before I finally gave up and went to the Dr. so that is why I told her I thought it was IBS. When the pain hits me it feels like if I would have a BM everything would be ok, sometimes it is ok, other times I strain and strain with no bowel movement only pain. Sometimes if I pass gas it helps other times nothing helps.
I have been keeping a list of the dates the "pain" hits and what I had to eat that may have triggered it. Most of the times I had something fried (shrimp, chicken) so I will back off of that. Other times looking back, I think sunflower seeds caused it. I thought I had read somewhere about nuts triggering the pain and I use to eat sunflower seeds alot.
Anyway, now that I have basically diagnosed myself and the Dr. confirmed my belief I can start trying to help myself. My Dr. prescribed Dicyclomine and Metimusal so we will see how that works.
At any rate, it is good to know that there is someplace I can go and ask questions no matter how stupid they may sound.
Thank you, Kim
