Sitting at a desk all day- need suggestions please       02/18/05 01:36 PM Edit Reply Quote Augie Reged: 10/27/04 Posts: 5807 Loc: Illinois My chronic C started when I went from working PT at a job where I stood the whole 4 hours to when I began working FT at a sit down desk job for 8 1/2 hours a day! UGH I regret this decision quite often, and mostly after a long streak of no BM days. I may start looking for a new job partly because of this reason. I know it's crazy, but it's like any other condition I guess. Wouldn't expect a deaf person to be a receptionist. Although jobs are very hard to find now a days. so until then, does anyone have any suggestions on stretches or ways to deal with the uncomfortableness and problem of sitting at a desk all day? It is frowned upon to leave and just wander around. And I only get 30 minutes for lunch, so no time to go out and walk even. Barely time to eat, and once again, that is done sitting at a table.
