so confused - IBS-D & Diverticulus?       02/15/05 11:06 PM Edit Reply Quote paintlady Reged: 02/10/03 Posts: 95 Loc: Columbia, CA Hi all, I haven't posted in a loooong time. recently was diagnosed with diverticulosis. (pain but no infection so far). I have had IBS-D for 26 years that I treated with Imodium to be able to leave my house. 2 years ago found Heather and her great book,helped a lot. Now I can't use the meds because of the diverticulosis. Lately my day has been going from doing the speed race to bathroom to feeling so plugged up and in pain. Life is rough I can't work, stuck in house most of the day. Afraid of IBS-D accidents happening again, too mortifying to even think about. Yet I'm afraid to take my trusty Imodium because of trigging painful diverticulosis attacks. I feel so trapped and sad right now. My husband has been recently diagnosed with diabetes. So we're both suffering and trying to help each other. Life just doesn't look so rosy right now. Paintlady Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
