Maybe you need to change your exercise program. You could run every other day and on your off days try a strength and restistance program. That way you can focus on strengthing other muscles other than your legs.
I use to run 10 miles a day back in my high school and college days and can feel like a job. The same exercise routine can get boring after awhile.
