I am alot more outgoing and outspoken than I used to be but I do enjoy my time at home and alone time. As far as stress at work I know closing your eyes and taking a moment might be the best thing for you but have you tried relaxational breathing. I haven't really read up on it or anything but in any stressful situation I have taught myself to breath deeply in and out.
