PERSONALITY TYPES

Any research on which personality types tend to get IBS? Especially introvert/extrovert?
Many times, people think of introverts as shy, quiet people. I am not at all. Not shy, not quiet. BUT, I AM an introvert. If I have a day off, I want to spend it by myself, doing something quiet. I stay up way too late because that is the only time I have alone, and suddenly, I have more energy than I have had all day!
And then, I am a fifth grade teacher (been teaching for 15 years.) I think this is a huge contributor of the continuation of my IBS. I am in a perpetual state of stress because I never get down time. I feel my tummy tighten as soon as the bell rings for the kids to come. I LOVE the kids, love teaching them, but emotionally, it takes its toll. I honestly cannot close my eyes for ten seconds without a kid taking advantage. If I am not on the kids constantly, they will either begin to goof off or will stop working. I mean, I have to prompt several kids just to get the pencils in their hands!
Just wondering how many of you out there are INTROVERTS? And, I am also open to any suggestions on how to lower my stress level at work.
