The best remedy I've found: WARM BATHS. No salts or bubbles. Sounds gross, but if you go to the loo and then don't wipe but just get in the bath it really helps. My doctor (a colorectal surgeon, not a GI) said not to use suppositories or tucks wipes but to make sure to wipe with moist tissue, the kind you would use on a baby. also, make sure you're taking enough psyllium (of course). and i'm probably going to have surgery; have you been to a doctor about this?
