Thank you for locating and posting the link. I'm afraid I don't agree with Heather on this. But, then, I don't agree with some of her recipes or her promoting certain prepared foods such as baked potato chips, etc. as being IBS safe. On the other hand, Heather's diet and lifestyle rules are the best anywhere in the world for controlling IBS.
The question one has to ask themselves is how one is feeling. If you are not stable or you are in pain or you are having other IBS symptoms, then you need to look at everything possible in order to get well, including, I'm sorry to tell you, eating organic.
Following the diet without cheating, as well as exercising, taking some form of relaxation such as yoga and eating organic, etc. all add up to better controlling your IBS symptoms and feeling good. It's not just one thing, it's the combination of things that will make you well. It's a difficult road to travel, but if you travel on the right path it will lead to improvements in your IBS symptoms.
