Try a slice of ginger the size of a quarter boiled in a mug of boiling water. It really helps the nausea. There's also a prescription drug called Diclectin that is helpful for nauseousness and morning sickness. As for the absorbtion of nutrients, my Doc told me to take a multivitamin and stop worrying. He said that whatever you don't get in your diet, the multivitamin will make up for it.
