Hello!

I have hypoglycemia (since I was 6) and was a bit nervous going into the diet. I never followed a diet for the low blood sugar, mainly out of laziness. I knew my body, and would usually be able to tell when an "attack" was coming...and would shove turkey, peanut butter and orange juice into my mouth. That has changed a bit....I cut out peanut butter because of the fat and the oj because it can be harsh on the stomach. I've been on Heather's diet for a month and a half, and for the first two weeks I was a bit dizzy and had trouble controling my blood sugar. I think my body was trying to adapt. I'm very aware that I have to keep protein in my body, so I've introduced soy into my diet. It seems to work well. And, I definetly am eating heathier now...which helps me overall.
Good luck!!
Kristin
