I'm full of questions.
First about white bread. Does it really have to be "fresh"? Does it have to be French or Sourdough? I went and bought some white bread this last weekend. I'm too poor to go get something else right now. The stuff I got says it's made from wheat flour but not whole wheat. It's enriched and fortified and all that good stuff. Is that okay?
Also,...for Heather, or anyone else who has her book. Are the chapters that you can read online the same as the chapters in the book you can buy? Is there more info. on the book or is it all there for me to download and print for free?
I also have a suggestion. Baby food. Baby food is cheap, the veggie portions are small. They are already purried and I think they're super yummy. Just a thought.
I'm beginning to wonder if I really have IBS though when I read about these "attack" things. I'm going to have all the tests done to elliminate other things real soon here. I just got insurance for the first time since I was 15, I'm 24, so that's cool. I've been diagnosed 2 x's by different DR.'s w/ IBS but they've never done any tests. My DR. has me going for an ultrasound of my gallbladder tomorrow. That's my first test. She mentioned me getting my gallbladder taken out but I don't want any organs removed. That can't be good. Anyways, I have ALL the symptoms of severe bloating, cramping when I eat, constipation, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE GAS, sometimes I think I'm going to keel over dead from it it smells SO BAD. God knows what I would do at work if it weren't for this pillow thing I discovered. I used to get diarrea also until I quit coffee. Not anymore now though. I'm not sure I get "attacks" though and I constantly read you guys referencing those. I do get this shooting pain in my right uppper side that feels like warm hot liquid and it sometimes hurts so bad it takes my breath away but it only lasts for a short while. Is that an "attack"? A couple of weeks ago I had this pain in my right side, lower than the one I just described that progessed over about 2-3 hours to the point where I couldn't stand or speak and could only moan and cry and cry and cry. My husband took me to this Urgent Care place and they gave me a shot of Demerol which was GREAT and told me that they thought I'd had an Overaian Cyst burst. The doc. had me go get an Ultrasound of my overies the next day and they said from the ultrasound that it looked like the cysts bursting thing was correct. Is it possible it was something more to do w/ my IBS? Okay, breaks over, back to work. By guys, and thanks.
