I struggled with IBS for many years...major pain, bloating and cramping not really knowing what it was. I have changed my diet and for the most part have done very well.

Recently, I have been under quite a bit of stress due to teaching a class, working and having a family but suffered very little from cramping and the like. Taking the Stevia-Plus has helped keep me regular as well.

This weekend I went through a very stressful couple of days but the stress was emotional and cut to the core of my heart. Suddenly, the cramping and the bloating and the "C" is back...it hasn't been like this in three years since my husband became a Christian and started treating me the way a man should treat his wife and my daughter was healed of an unknown chemical imbalance that caused her to have seizure type spells.

It seems that for me, if the stress is emotional like a death in the family, marital issues, a sick child etc. my IBS rears its ugly head. Regular work stress doesn't bother it in the least.

It's odd that it took me so long to come to this conclusion but thankfully my life has been one of peace lately. The stress of this weekend will pass as will this attack. I'm not sure how to keep emotional stress at bay...it isn't as if I can see it coming.
