I was hoping that it would be in a pill form, but it is actually a powder that you mix with water. One of the side effects can be nausea, and I have been experiencing that this afternoon. Other side effects can be bloating, gas, and cramps, which happen to be my biggest problems. I wish that my doctor would have been a little more thorough in explaining the side effects. I should have asked, but was just so excited to try something that might help. She did say that there are other non-habit forming laxitives available if this doesn't work for me.
