Antibiotics & Acidophilus

I just got diagnosed with a urinary tract infection. UGH! I haven't had to take any antibiotics for such a long time. I've always heard from friends and read in books/online to take acidophilus when on antibiotics. It supposed to replace the good bacteria wiped out by the antibiotics, right? Anyway, my prescription for my antibioltics is 3 times a day. When is the best time to take the acidophilus capsules and should I take it more than it says on the container? Here's the link for the exact product I am using.

My two concerns are how to space the antibiotic and the acidophilus & not exceeding on the acidophilus. I hope I don't sound too ignorant, but I have never taken acidophilus, so just wanted some insight. Oh, by the way I am IBS-C for the most part. I do get bloated alot as well.

Anyway, thanks in advance for your response. I've been reading the boards for a long time...but haven't posted in quite a while. You all are great!

Kristina
