As others have suggested - Start the day with soluable fiber and water.

My husband (IBS-A) makes this smoothy every morning:

2 bananas
1 soy fruit yogert
splash of soy milk

Variations:
1) add honey or cocoa powder
2) add egg whites (like egg beaters)- to add protein
3) add frozen whole blueberrys/strawberrys

He wakes up makes the shake puts it into the freezer then gets ready for the day and drinks on way to work.

Then on weekends will have the oatmeal from Heather's cookbook.

Or, plain bagle with Tofuti brand Cream-cheese
