Sometimes, people are so fearful of things they cannot see--your "injury" lies inside and is not physically visible to them--perhaps they need some training on what IBS is and how they can help you? Failing that, new friends who really want to be there for you thru good AND difficult times may be just what the doctor ordered!!!
