IBS can be expensive! How do you cut costs?

Hi Everyone,
As we all know dealing with IBS means special foods, fiber supplements, supplies (for IBS-D), numerous doctor appointments, tests and trying out/using different meds can break the budget. I try to cut costs anyway I can.
My tips:
1. make IBS safe bread in bread machine
2. Sales - stock-up on frequently used IBS items
3. Yard sales - best bargains late afternoon
My great finds: vegy steamer, rice steamer, bread machine, blender,
soft music tapes, craft supplies (hobbies are relaxing)
4. Journal(write out feelings)use school notebooks 4 notebooks for $1 in back to School Sales
Anyone have money saving tips to share?
