I don't mean to poo on your starbucks plan but it can backfire....your constipation is primarily caused by abnormal gut muscle contractions (so these abnormalities express themselves as constipation and/or diarrhea)..so you could be making it worse by introducing something into your body that is a trigger. I know coffee does sometimes bring on the poos, esp with cream, but it can backfire badly. I will never forget one desperate night camping where I ate a whole bag of dried apricots, desperate to go...oh the pain and the smell I created, and no results. I would introduce some gentle fibres into your diet, and avoid white products, (white bread, pasta , rice) and eat brown rice, oatmeal, barley, pureed vegie soup and lots and lots of peppermint tea on an empty tummy.
