Re: Need safe lunch ideas       06/19/03 12:17 PM Edit Reply Quote michele Reged: 06/02/03 Posts: 6886 Loc: southeastern michigan Heres a few of my favorites: Burritos: no fat shells filled with rice and Fantastic brand taco meat replacement(its made from soy and actually taste like hamburger!) Use a little rice cheedar cheese for a little more flavor. I make them up the night before, wrap in saran wrap and nukem ate work! Have you tried the rice butter spread? Its pretty good on potatoes and rice. It does have 3 grams of fat per serving I use just a little and seem to tolerate it fine!I also sprinkle with garlic and salt and a little of that butter sprinkle stuff. I also like the Thai Kitchen noodles, you can but them right in the bowl, just add water and nuke! I make a lot of cold salads with potatoes and/or noodles, low fat dressing, theres a low fat garlic vinegarette(sp?)I really like, add some chicken and green beans if you can handle them. -------------------- Taking it one day at a time.....
