How much insoluble fiber is safe?       11/08/04 03:35 PM Edit Reply Quote Augie Reged: 10/27/04 Posts: 5807 Loc: Illinois Heather's books say that we must eat insoluble fibers, such as the veggies, but to do it in small portions only and with soluable fibers. How much is a little? Since everyone's perception is different? A normal serving of green beans, for example, is 3 ounces. Is that too much to have at once with the rice or is that safe? I usually have 3 ounces of veggies, whether soluable or insoluable. I usually also have 3 to 4 ounces of fruit too. Is that too much on this diet?
