I survived the colonscopy "night before" prep!       06/13/03 06:28 AM Edit Reply Quote BL Reged: 06/01/03 Posts: 3522 Well, I'm a little weak and have a bad headache this morning, but I survived the colonscopy prep (more commonly known as "The Night of Running to the Bathroom.") Drinking the stuff was not nearly as bad as I expected (I put it in Sprite and sucked on lime wedges pretending it was a margarita); it was what came afterwards that surprised me. Whew! That was unlike any diarrhea I've ever had! I finally fell asleep about 2 a.m. and only woke up a couple of times after that. Now if I can just get the procedure over with. I am ready to have it behind me. (no pun intended.) Say a prayer for me at 1:30 EST. I know the test is necessary, but I'm really dreading it. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
