I was terrified of having an attack. What I finally did was go to my principal and explained the situation. He arranged for another teacher (the resource teacher) to relieve me at any time (I just had to duck my head in his door and he'd go monitor my class). I felt so relieved! So, if I did have an attack, it was OK. And guess what? I had less attacks because I wasn't as worried! I taught grade 789 and I know - you leave the room unsupervised and you're DEAD. With high school kids, I found that most classes I could trust enough to leave them for a short period of time. Good luck, and sending you a hug. -------------------- Formerly HanSolo.
