I don't usually have to run anywhere unless I have a major attack when I haven't gone in awhile. I would talk to a trusted co-worker whose class is close to yours and create some kind of signal when you have to leave. I have upper elementary so I usually just say "I'll be back." You don't have to be specific. I also provide an incentive when kids are good and I am out of the room. I don't know about your principal but mine is great and I have let her know why I might be out of the room. Good Luck and don't stress about it! That makes it worse! Angela E.
