Question for Barbara S. re: paxil       06/11/03 08:31 PM Edit Reply Quote BL Reged: 06/01/03 Posts: 3522 I noticed in one of your posts you said you take Paxil. Do you mind me asking do you have IBS-D or IBS-C? Does it help with your IBS symtoms? I have suffered from depression and panic attacks in the past and was on Zoloft for that. (The doc thought I was bipolar but I don't think that was the correct diagnosis.) I have been off all medication for a year now, and ever since, I have had stomach problems. I am wondering if there is a correlation since from what I'm reading there is a connection between serontin levels and your gut. I am thinking about asking the doctor about getting back on a low dose of one of the anti-depressants to see if it will help my IBS-C. I am desperate for something to help!!!
