citrucel upset me no end.. I did better with benefiber, but best with acacia and it takes much less to keep me stable... mass, not grams.. acacia is the most concentrated of the fibers... so I take 2 tablespoons spread over 3 doses.. I was taking 3 1 tablespoon doses of benefiber.. occasionally if I'm not getting a lot of SF in my diet that day I'll add an extra dose in too, that seems to help keep me stable.. and also if I am going to eat something that might be iffy I'll try to take it beforehand.
