In fact it can usually get people laughing. If someone at work is having a bad day and I pull out my gas x and ask if it will help. That usually gets a laugh! I don't think it will hurt you just be careful you don't take it and lay down. You will think it is burning your innerds. I am IBS D and I use it with my imodium. If I had a big dinner I take some and it helps the bloating like you wouldn't believe. I don't know if getting differant kind of gas-aid will help.
