Thanks so much for the encouragement!
I hope this will help- one thing under control (the iBS) will help other health issues, I know.
If I can lose weight- by actually eating- half my battles will be won. You say that you eat "all day" I have a problem with making myself eat at all. I have (for the past 6-7 years) found my energy (what little I have) in grabbing a soda. I don't eat breakfast or lunch and just a little dinner. I would usually eat a bagel with cream cheese before bed. I run around after my 4 little boys ( two in school now- one of these just started this year- 2 home all day) and I never seem to have the time or energy ("excuses," I am told) to make myself eat. I make them homemade pancakes for breakfast (which I love, but I never end up eating, because after cooking everything and cleaning up, it's time for school and taking care of their needs and taking care of the dogs, the bills, the house.. . and so forth.
Doing the Atkins I was trying to force down their "Shakes" a couple times a day, even though I know that I can't tolerate milk.
