HI! Thank you so much for your suggestions! I apprecaite it! How did you get used to no butter? Was that not a problem for you? I hardly eat food- lots of soda (carbonation) and I love salad with oil and vinegar. I love all fruit. I do love butter though- on bread, on rice, on potatoes... Do you lose that taste, or is it just that the will to survive is stronger than the want for butter (or soda, or anything else that is a trigger)? I love pasta too- with tomato sauce, or with lots of vegys saute'd in chicken broth. I know, with my other pains and health problems, that I can't go on like this. If I can fix the IBS- that's one less thing to deal with- if I can lose the weight and feed my body- I know my back and fibro will be better. The migraines will always be (I have had them daily for 13 years now- even when I was thin, active, exercising daily- and generally healthy)< but I do know that they have only worsened as my physical condition has worsened. People tell me that my head is going to hurt whether I am doing "nothing" (chasing 4 little boys is NOT nothing!) or whether I am working out. (Anyone out there tried working out with a migraine and other pains at the same time?) I know that if I can start losing weight with diet and control the IBS, that the "Working-out" part will come! Than ks for listening and for the great tips! Cynthia
