It's funny, I kept thinking I was crazy when I would feel so awful on Atkins diet. I got sick on it summer 2003 and only started again this year (5 weeks ago) and have been so much worse again. My husband kept saying it was the Atkins making me sick and I was determined to lose weight, so I ignored it.
I thought it was just my not wanting to be on the diet. I finally thought if I could change one part of my pain in my life- I need to investigate more. I found this site and knew right away the Atkins was making me so much worse. I'd eat cheese at night for a snack and almost die from the diarrhea the next AM. I'd like to wake up one day and not feel this way. I had surgery in Aug and took Darvocett for the pain. I couldn't believe it. I told my husband that was the best I'd felt (with regard to my IBS) in ages. The naroctics constipate). Is that bad or what?
