Okay, so I got a prescription...       09/21/04 04:39 PM Edit Reply Quote Jennifer Rose Reged: 04/02/03 Posts: 3566 Loc: Fremont, CA Sometimes I wonder about my doctor. He called me back right away (he's great about that) and said he had no problem writing me a prescription and they might even help. I had mentioned that I had some friends who were on ADs for their IBS and he was asking what they were taking. Then told me he'd write me a low dose prescription for prozac and to call him at the end of the month to let him know how I was doing. I sort of got the feeling like he was fishing around for information about how to go about prescribing it to me. I have a feeling that I'm his first severe IBS patient. Plan to pick up the prescription tomorrow, but do some more research on my own before taking them. Thanks everyone for your advice!
