Thanks for the compliment!! No, I'm not a healthcare professional but I enjoy researching things and helping others. I kind of consider it to be my job now to do peer counseling, and education and advocacy for IBS and fibromyalgia, now that I'm out on permanent disability. However, herbal remedies is not an area I know much about, unfortunately. The Arthritis Foundation has a terrific book on Alternative Remedies that is very well balanced between things that are worth trying and things that have no scientific evidence.
