Another Newbie       09/17/04 10:33 AM Edit Reply Quote Amy1973 Reged: 09/17/04 Posts: 68 Loc: Mesa,AZ I had a GI appointment a couple of weeks ago, had a colonoscopy done they confirmed that I have IBS with constipation. I had constipation problems in the past, nothing real bad. I could usually just adjust my diet and drink prune juice things would be fine. I say I would get constipated maybe every three to six months. Then this summer I had problems with my sinuses and they put me on antibiotics and steriods for three months. On my final dose of antibiotics and steriods. I was tired all the time and extremely constipated. I haven't been regular since. I was wondering if the antibiotic and steriods could of set off the IBS? I'm so glad I found this board, I've been lurking for about a month. Following Heather's diet and feeling better.
