Well I definitely know that it is hard to change around your eating habits, not easy at all. Thats for sure the hardest part, but the thing is, if you start to do it AND notice a change then really, isn't it worth it to not have the pain, etc?
Really, really try to get her to take you to the doctor again. Tell her that you don't want him/her to tell you what to eat, you already know what diet you'll be following, you just want to find out if there is a medication you could try. Oh, by the way do you take an SFS? I know they definitely help a lot of people!
