What a comfort to hear from people like me!       06/02/03 02:01 PM Edit Reply Quote Kristin Reged: 06/02/03 Posts: 29 Loc: New Jersey I'm new to this site, and cannot believe there are so many people with IBS! I ordered Heather's two books and read both of them over the weekend. I'm both overwhelmed and excited at the same time. I'm 24, and have been suffering with IBS since age 9, and was also diagnosed with Colitis (which my doctor has now said has disappeared) a year ago. I've had such negative reactions from people about this syndrome, and constantly find myself making up excuses (I don't feel like going out...etc...). I've been living on Immodium, and have tried numerous medications (I'm currently taking Nu-Lev). I have cried too much about this, but now feel at ease that there are other people like me. Yesterday was my first day with Heather's diet, and I can't wait to start cooking! Kristin Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
