IBS-D and Lipase deficiency       06/02/03 09:18 AM Edit Reply Quote Zaftig1 Reged: 03/12/03 Posts: 92 Loc: USA I wonder if there is a link between the two? I know that people with a lipase deficiency have trouble metaboizing fats and so they pass thru their system in diahhrea--just like it does for those of us with IBS-D. Is it possible that at least some of us with IBS-D have a lipase deficiency?
