HI,

It took me quite a while to stabilise and I still have 'attacks'. Not as many as at first though. A couple weeks ago I was really laid low by a major attack. The doctor prescribed colofac - I have never heard of it but it stopped the attack straigh away. I usually use Donatab (available over the counter in the chemist) if I am having an attack that lasts a few days. I use benefibre as a suppliment and it works well for me. The vege shreds Kerrie was talking about are great. They are low fat and melt well. I use an alternative cheese called mini chol as well - it does contain milk solids but I can tolerate it really well. I buy that in the deli section of safeway or in delicatesons.
