They will offer to let you watch the process on the monitor which sounds pretty neat and of course would not sedate you to do so. But don't be fooled. They have to pump air into you to expand the colon and it is a constant dull pain. So go ahead and get sedated and it will be all over before you know it and you will have felt nothing.
