I pretty much only have D anymore when I have social anxiety (at big events), so it's pretty rare. BUT, I have gas and bloating EVERYDAY no matter what I eat. My parents were always yelling at me to stop letting out gas when I was growing up, but I couldn't help it!! It hurt so bad that I had to just keep letting it out to not feel sick. I started long distance running and I would just let gas out the whole time I was running (I honestly couldn't help it). Then, I started having severe cases of D when I was running. So, I had to always run on an empty stomach. I went on a diet which consisted of only eating dinner at the end of the day - no breakfast or lunch. I think this might be what messed up my system because I was always constipated since I wasn't eating much. I could either eat, run, and have D. Or, not eat, and have C. Regardless of what weird C or D thing was going on throughout my life.....the gas and bloating have always been there. No matter what I did. :-(

Not sure that helps, but just know that there are others out there that know what you mean about the gas and bloating. I can go without C and D for months (and years), but bloating and gas are my facts of daily life!

Good luck on finding out a diagnosis!
