Re: What causes Nausia?       08/23/04 07:39 PM Edit Reply Quote Lefty1 Reged: 08/09/04 Posts: 157 My husband did take immodium advanced and now he is on the C side of things. (sigh!) We continue to make these mistakes cause we can't read fast enough! He agrees that he has the nausea when the gas levels are high. It does not matter what time of day. In fact he seems to get worse as the day progresses. So he will wake up fine and then by mid-afternoon be uncomfortable at work with gas and nausea. He switched to soy milk and oat squares for breakfast (2 days so far) and said that today was a good day. Meaning no nausea. He also has been great about getting regular exercise. Someone mentioned Pepto and he said that when he was really bad with nausea several weeks ago that did help. He since then took Milanta and had complete D soon afterwards so he will never do that again. So since that he has been worried about the Pepto for nausea too. As an aside: I think one of the reasons it took awhile for us to get onto the band wagon was getting ourselves around the problem. To accept that is was real and that it was not going to go away. Nausea is the worst, in his opinion, and he is highly motivated not to do anything to have it happen again. (scared too) Thanks so much for your feedback we both read the posts and it is appreciated!
