Feeling better after a colonoscopy?       08/22/04 12:00 PM Edit Reply Quote Judithg Reged: 07/14/03 Posts: 157 Loc: California I had a colonoscopy done in July, and I have felt a lot better since. Does this mean I should be doing a colon cleanse every year? I've always avoided them because they seem so hard on the body, but I'm wondering if that's why I've been feeling better. Of course, a couple of other things may also be contributing. I was on antibiotics prior to the colonoscopy because I had an overgrowth of unfriendly bacteria, so that may have helped. And since the colonoscopy I've been pretty careful about my diet. I'm still having occasional D, but it's not as bad as before.
