My husband is fussy about his vegetables. He loves veggies as long as they are broccoli, asparagus, spinach, cauliflower, onions and leeks. I used to make broccoli and asparagus all the time. Now I make me baby carrots and him broc or asp. I put 1 serving of carrots at the bottom of the steamer basket and top with half a head of broc or half a bunch of asp. Then he can have his veg and I can have mine plus a couple bites of his veg when I am done with the rest of my meal. It has been an important solution in my house.

"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!
