I always only make a half-recipe, because I only have one loaf pan on hand, and it's always turned out fantastic. I don't always use black bananas - everytime just brown ones (or one fresh one with black ones etc.) have come out OK as long as you mash them very well (I usually just stick them with all the wet ingredients and the sugar into the blender for a few seconds). I always cut bananas in half and freeze them for snacks (kind of like popsicles) - but i've never tried using them for the recipe. Now I will! Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
