Messed up recipe or malfunctioning oven?       12/04/06 10:44 AM Edit Reply Quote littlelani Reged: 06/17/06 Posts: 387 Loc: Asheboro, NC The last 2 things I baked didn't turn out well, & I don't know if I did something wrong or if my oven is messed up. I made pumpkin cranberry bread & blondies (as gifts for others, not ibs safe recipes). Neither one of them were cooked in the center. The bread was gooey & sticky in middle, and the blondies still had batter in the middle! I baked them for as long as I could without burning the outsides, but it didn't help. I love to bake, but know nothing about home maintenance, cleaning/repairing ovens, etc. (Mom always did that.) I was thinking it just may need to be cleaned, but I'm not sure.
