We got this tip from Alton Brown, but his recipe used dairy and dried apricots - eesh. But you can make it with just water and oats and a little salt, and it turns out creamy and delicious. My husband generally sets the crock pot on "keep warm", and that's enough to have it completely cooked by the morning. --AC Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
