I have to ask what this recipe is, before I make any suggestions. Are they cookies? Or are they more like a sweet roll of some kind?
If they're cookies, sadly, they can't be made IBS-safe, because cookies need the fat for texture... trying to substitute would completely ruin them.
However, if they're more like a roll, which I'm thinking they are with a yeast dough, then you can substitute a different kind of dough altogether - like a sweet bread dough - because the filling and icing, as long as you go easy on the pecans, are safe as they are.
