A sugar beet is different from a regular beet. I have never seen one although they are supposed to be the most grown thing in Minnesota. I prefer C&H sugar but often buy Crystal at Sam's Club. -------------------- IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004.
