Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards | Help I just found this recipe

I found this recipe the other day and am making it right now. Something isn't right and I improvised which I will tell you about.
Blueberry muffins
1 1/2c flour
2t. powder
1/2t salt
4 egg whites
1/2c soy or rice milk
2 T veg oil
1/2t vanilla
1c thawed frozen blueberries with 1/2c juice reserved.
Ok the problem is that there is no juice with frozen blueberries, aren't they always dry pack? And there is no sugar in the recipe so I don't know how they will taste. So I am improvising 1/2c. melted grape jelly. But if the blueberry juice did work I thought it would be a good recipe for people who can't have sugar. Any help?
